The color as well as the black and white contrast is amazing. This camera costs only 899.00! I have been looking for years for a camera of this quality and they usually go for $1,500 on up to $3,000. I really am amazed at this footage. I had to compress the video for youtube and in doing so, I lost the high definition.... more

Actually I was testing out my new solid-state DV camera. A Canon FS100 which shoots ~DV quality on a flash HCSD memory card (in other words - tapeless!), weighs 9 oz and has 3hrs record time on a 16GB card battery life is ~2-1/2 hrs. and fits in a jacket pocket. Also will work in extreme cold temps because no moving.... more
